The Gayatri Co-Operative Urban Bank Ltd. is a multi-state cooperative bank headquartered in Jagtial, Telangana. It was established in the year 2000 and began operations on 11 September 2000 after receiving a banking license from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The bank was founded to provide affordable and accessible banking services to poor, middle-class, rural, semi-urban, urban, and small business customers.

Starting as a single-unit bank with a share capital of ₹25.11 lakh and 1,008 members, the institution has expanded significantly over the years. It now operates numerous branches across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and offers modern banking facilities comparable to commercial banks.
